A Tort Victim Petition for Review to the LIRC form is used to request the review of a decision of an administrative law judge in a case of tort victims' compensation. This form must be filed with the Commission within 30 days of the date of the judge's decision.

To appeal a decision of the Commission on a tort victims' compensation case, a petition for judicial review must be filed in the appellate court within 20 days after the mailing of the Commission's decision. The venue for filing the petition for judicial review is the appellate court in the area where the appellate resides.

For more information on how to file an appeal of a tort victims' compensation case, please contact the Commission at (573) 751-2461 or Email lirc@dolir.mo.gov.
