TITLE: Senior Auditor (Jefferson City)

Salary; $1,612.50 - $2,362 Semi-Monthly


Duties/Responsibilities:

This is senior-level professional work coordinating program and financial auditing of the internal operations of a state agency and/or external organizations providing contracted services to the state agency or its clients. Work will consist of auditing activities including evaluating the accuracy of financial records, auditing the effectiveness of operational controls, auditing the conformance to program policies and procedures and auditing records for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have one or more years of experience as an Auditor II with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay system.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 earned credit hours in accounting and two or more years of professional auditing experience.
OR
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant license; Certified Government Auditing Professional, Certified Internal auditor or Certified Government Financial Manager.
