***Unemployment Benefits Notice***

  • November 6, 2009- Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009 (Worker Assistance Act)

    Federal legislation has been passed that provides Additional Emergency Unemployment Compensation 2008 (EUC08) benefits for those who have exhausted current EUC08 benefits. Instructions and applications have been mailed to potentially eligible  workers. If you received a notice and application, follow the instructions for filing. If you did not receive an application but believe you may be eligible, call you Regional Claims Center and follow the menu options.

  • Additional Emergency Unemployment Compensation 2008 (EUC08) Available: Additional EUC08 benefits are available for eligible claimants who have exhausted their regular state benefits. Contact a Regional Claims Center to apply for these EUC08 benefits.
  • State Extended Benefits (EB) : With the passage of the Worker Assistance Act, which provides for additional EUC08 benefits, no new state EB claims can be filed with an effective date of November 8, 2009 or later.
