In observance of two official state and national holidays on Friday, February 12 and Monday February 15, the Division of Employment Security Regional Claims Centers will not have representatives available to answer calls on these days. The automated telephone information and claims filing systems will be available as well as our Internet site. Payments normally made on Monday or Tuesday will be made on Wednesday, February 17.

1099 Tax Form

Tax forms 1099-G for unemployment benefits paid in 2009 are now being mailed out.  You may also access your 1099 through our web site by clicking the link below.

Additional federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation 2008 (EUC08) benefits may be available if you have drawn all money from your Missouri regular UI claim, state Extended Benefit claim, or a prior federal EUC08 claim. Contact an RCC (see list below) to apply for these EUC08 benefits. When calling, listen to the menu options and choose “Option 5”. The initial application for federal EUC08 benefits cannot be filed online.


  • State Extended Benefits (EB) : With the passage of the Worker Assistance Act, which provides for additional EUC08 benefits, no new state EB claims can be filed with an effective date of November 29, 2009, or later.
